Tupperware Shape-O Toy

Product: Shape-O

Category: Tupperware Toy

Price: AUS $41, NZ $49

Presentation: This is a fantastic toy to teach kids shapes, colours and logic. BIM loves her Shape-O. She started fromrecognizing the round shape at around 16 months, then gradually she was able to sort other shapes as well. Every time she successfully inserts a shape into the ball, she will make a shout of joy! Shape-O can be a rolling rattle too which is fun for the kids.

History: Shape-O has been on market for more than four decades now. It would be a childhood toy for some of the parents too [1]. Suitable for children age 6 months – 4 years old (here is a mental and social development chart for 0 – 5 years old)

Review: 7/10. All good except for the price. If you do not mind the brand, there are other round shape sortersin the market that are sold for less than half of the price. Sometimes you might be able to get a different colour Shape-O. Occasionally it is on sale on the Tupperware Monthly Brochures and that is when you should buy instead of paying full price. If you do not mind used toy, try to get a bargain from local op Shop, gumtree or even eBay.
